The Pakistan Stock Exchange has transitioned to a T+1 settlement cycle, effective February 09, 2026. This means that securities purchased today will be credited to your account (and payment debited) by the next business day, replacing the previous T+2 cycle. This faster settlement improves liquidity and reduces settlement risk.

PSX operates a continuous order-driven market during official trading hours. We recommend checking the PSX website or contacting our office for the exact trading session timings, as these may be subject to regulatory updates.

Minimum investment requirements depend on your account type and the securities you wish to purchase. Some securities have minimum lot sizes. Please contact our team for guidance on minimum capital requirements for your specific investment strategy.

Leverage and financing options may be available depending on your account type and risk profile. All financing must comply with PSX regulations and our internal credit policies. Please contact us to discuss financing options and applicable terms.

Your trades are executed through our authorized trading terminals connected to PSX’s order management system. Orders are matched in real-time on a price-time priority basis. We provide order confirmations via email and through your trading account portal.

  • Equities (stocks) of listed companies
  • Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs)
  • Mutual Fund units (in applicable markets)
  • Other listed instruments as per PSX regulations

An accredited investor is defined under PSX regulations based on income, net worth, or investment experience criteria. Certain securities or investment products may be restricted to accredited investors. Our compliance team can assess your eligibility and advise on available investment options.

PSX has recently proposed a comprehensive framework for Shariah-compliant securities trading to launch a dedicated Islamic brokerage platform. As these regulations are still under review (public consultation closes March 2, 2026), we will provide updates on our Shariah-compliant offerings once the framework is approved and implemented. Please contact us for further details.

Short selling policies are governed by PSX regulations. Current regulations restrict certain forms of short selling to ensure market integrity. Please contact our compliance team to understand which short-selling mechanisms (if any) are available under your account type.

  • Segregated client accounts: Your securities are held separately from the broker’s proprietary holdings
  • Regulatory oversight: SECP and PSX conduct regular audits and inspections of all brokers
  • Dispute resolution: PSX provides formal arbitration procedures for investor grievances

Please refer to PSX regulations for specific protection limits.
